Spring fever
Published March/April 2001

The smell and sights of Spring are finally sprouting up all around us. We did have a bit of thawing out to do this winter. While our Northern neighbors would laugh at our complaints concerning the number of days that dipped into the 30’s and 40’s, we felt that we did indeed suffer along with the rest of the country. It was quite an unusual winter.

Springtime in Florida is full of fairs, festivals and fun. Residents and vacationers can take part in the numerous outdoor activities that our seasonal weather is designed for. For many, this year’s cool winter and soon-to-be scorching summer temperatures, will produce an even greater appreciation of Spring 2001.
