Birthday guy According to the New England Centenarian Study at Harvard University, those 100 years and older are the fastest growing population in the United States, followed only by Americans 85 years and older. It is estimated that there are currently between 50,000 and 75,000 centenarians living in this country today. These numbers will rise drastically with the aging baby boom generation. Willard Scott will surely have plenty of work for awhile.
There are currently between 50,000 and 75,000 Americans who are 100 and older, but that number will grow over the next 50 years.
