It is that time of year again, Oscar time! 0n March 24th the Academy Awards will take place and movie enthusiasts from around the world will be watching and voting for their favorite nominees. It is a tradition that has gone on since the late 1920s. There are so many legendary motion pictures that are in the category of past "Academy Award winners." Few of us have seen them all. Our remote control may stop on the American Movie Classics or Turner Classic Movies channels, catching a bit of one of these old movies. We may say to ourselves, "Oh, I always wanted to see that movie, too bad it's already half over!" Or in some cases, we have never even seen a glimpse of a particular film. With everything going on inside our brains, it is hard to recall a movie we have been meaning to see. How many times have you aimlessly walked around your neighborhood video store complaining that there is NOTHING to watch?
Well, we are here to help. The following is a complete list of all past Academy Award winning films. Take a moment to look over the list and find that film you have been longing to see.
