Taking it slow

From the Editor - Taking it slow
It is the time of year where things are beginning to wind down. The school year is coming to an end, graduations are upon us, friends may be leaving and summer schedules are waiting to be planned. It is indeed a time of change for many of us.

This hectic time is also the perfect time to just stop and reflect. How many of us habitually just go onto the “next thing”, without even experiencing what we are doing in the moment? I am truly guilty of this.

Lately I have been thinking of how much I might be missing by so quickly moving on. It all goes so fast. During this season of “bittersweet conclusions”, I am going to try to slow down and take in what is going on around me. Maybe it is like a good book, the ending is often the best part.
